A PLAN TO DEMINISH INCREASED CRIME RATE IN MDANTSANE

Residents of Mdantsane, East London in the Eastern Cape, have come together in a fight to clean Qumza highway shopping centre.

Qumza Highway is a small over-crowded area in Mdantsane with shops, vendors and developing business owners.

A young man aged 29 years from N.U 2 Mdantsane who refused to be revealed came up with the idea hoping that it will diminish the level of criminality in Mdantsane highway.

The 29 years old revealed that he also has been a victim of crime in the area, not once nor twice but many times by being searched by amaphara (drug addicts. According to the young man, the only thing that could aid the area is if all the Mdantsane populaces unite and fight the crime.

The forum recently recovered a stolen plasma T.V and returned it to its original owners.

The NU.2 Mdantsane patrol forum wishes to also get help from the community with anything that they could donate with as they have no source of income.
